ABOUT ME
I started taking photos after being gifted my first 35mm camera at the age of 16 in Poland. In 2010 I switched to digital film. I have since been participating in grassroots media collectives that create documentaries on important social issues: Radio/Video Chamba in Chicago and Liberated Lens Film Collective in Oakland. I have conducted many trainings for youth and fellow immigrants in both cities and created many short documentaries. I have directed one feature film, “Broken Windows, Open Doors” and produced, filmed and edited "Follow the Drinking Gourd," that is currently premiering at several film festivals. I worked as cinematographers of “Couper Was Here,” and recently finished filming a feature fiction film, “Elephant”. I am available for hire for film or photography work in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have my own gear and have worked on a variety of projects with a range of budgets.
